Hey Guys,

I have a customer who is trying to transfer an incoming call, but when she transfer the call to the extension she will automatically get a busy tone when the extension is being used and the call bounces back. (By the way it is voice first and the phones are forwarded with busy/no answer). They want to be able to transfer calls and if the station is busy, they want it to forward to their voice mail box but I not sure where to start looking.

Also, they have a maverick mail, if you need that information.

Thanks in advance guys.

Is she using a dss/blf or is she dialing the station number on the transfer?

If she has a 60 button add on module then there is a setting to follow call forwarding through the attendant phone OR through the 60 button module. Maybe she should try to do it manually or vise versa.

Thanks for the reply guys, She wasn't explaining to me correctly, I went there and tested it out and it worked fine. I checked voice mail and noticed that there are only 2 ports for the voice mail and this is a pretty big site. So you are correct Steve, the voice mail ports were busy when she was trying to transfer.

Again, thanks a lot for the replies, its much appreciated.
