Need help.
Can we disable the conferencing feature in CIX? I've disabled the System Data - Multiconference - Disable, but still can conference EXTERNAL parties.
I might be able to accept if Toshiba cannot disable internal conferencing, but EXTERNAL conferencing?
Conferencing in this context is "User" calls "External Party A" and then calls "External Party B" and joins all together in a conference call. I want to disable the ability for "User" to call "External Party B" when already on an external call.
I've also disabled Tandem CO connection.

I have never heard of the conference feature being disabled before?? Did you check the rest of the COS parameters?

Try under COS theres a Tandem CO Connection, disable it and I'm thinking that might do it.

There's a JOIN feature in COS, but the notes say its for Attendant only. Disabling it doesn't do anything.
I've tried Tandem CO Connection. That feature is to disable 2 (or more) external parties from having a connection in tandem with the CIX without an extension supervising it.
Help!
Can other PABX/Keyphone sets disable this feature?

I’ve tried to set the DKT circuit type to “Voice Mail†(Prg. 200, FB 3), and this disables conferencing, but the DKT display freezes.
Customer doesn’t have use voice mail/VMID.
Can this be a workaround?
Thanks in advance.

No. If you change the circuit type the phone won't work right. You only assign the circuit type as VM if you have a VM unit and are programming extensions to the VM ports.
I'm not sure you can do what you want.
