I just had a CIX 100 installed system in my office. Everything is working great, however I have one small nuisance. Is there a way to turn off the beeping when dialing the phone? It sounds like everyone in my office is pressing the buttons on a microwave oven! Maybe I will get used to it, but it would be great to disable this "feature".
Thank you in advance for your response!

Yes, it can be turned off, might I suggest that you contact your installing vendor back and have that adjusted most reputable vendors do a follow-up a few weeks/months after the install is done to make this type of minor adjustment. I do understand how that will drive a person crazy! Being from the same local area as you I do know the local Akron/Cleveland vendors and all will gladly assist you in getting this change done. If you have a problem with your local vendor feel free to contact me back and I will contact them for you or you can contact Toshiba directly and let them know of your issues with the vendor and I'm sure it will be straightened out. AND, to the board!

I agree, your installing dealer should turn this off at no charge, however it is a user feature so they may not.
You can adjust the volume of the beeps by dialing #6101 and using the volume keys to adjust. hang up when done. However I do believe the volume is down be default.
You can turn the beeps off the pressing 3 6 9 HOLD all at the same time. then press 0. You should see key 01 on. Press it to turn off. Then press Hold, and hang up the phone.
Both of these must be done at the phone level. If you have a lot of them its time consuming.
Good luck
