I haven't used CTX WinAdmin software in a while. I just reinstalled it on an XP laptop with IIS running etc. It appears to be working, but when I try to connect to our internal CTX-28 by dialing the main number from our fax line (no NIC in phone system, anyone have one for sale??) I don't get an answer.
I can see the light on my phone turn on, so I know its dialing out, and the ctx is picking up the call, but its not "connecting".
What am I doing wrong?? Thanks!

I have made some progress....
I had to have my laptop dial my extension, then I transfered the call to #19. Now I get to the point where it says "verifying username and password" but then it disconnects with error 721: The remote computer did not respond.
Any ideas? Thanks!

try hooking the analog extension(from the CTX 28) straight into your modem , and have your laptop dial #19, If you have access to Emanager you might see if you can connect with it.
