Looking at the CIX 40 product information, need any feedback regarding programming difficulties, , voice mail setup, I know it is a newer style system, any problems with reliability. Any comments would help. Are you happy with the new style compared to the reliable DK 40
Thanks

The CIX40 is the same as the CIX100 only with less port capacity. It has the same reliability as any Toshiba product. I think its great that they came out with a small system that will provide 8 ports of IP connectivity. The system programs with eManager the same as the 100 and 670.

The voicemail is feature rich - same as IVP8.

If you can't tell, I'm a big fan.......... clap

Now available Voicemail Programmer Kit to program your Toshiba Voice Mail across your network.

From what I hear, they are planning to add more to it, such as more IP phone and CO capacity.

There is a R2 version of the CIX 40 due out in about 30 days or so. It will be running 5.1 software and will have the ability to add a special CO card in the IP slot to give you more CO's. This means no IP capability if you choose to use the CO card. The good news is you will be able to take a R1 processor and upgrade to R@ with the newest software by doing a software upgrade - no hardware involved!!!
