I've been tasked with correcting the names on the Phone LCD Display. From what I can tell, I need to do this from Extension 200 (we use 201 - 248). I can't find this extension anywhere. Is there some other way I can do this?

But try Intercom #621
Then use the Dialpad to configure the name.
Or Use Admin Program. | | | | Joined: Aug 2006 Posts: 11 Member | OP Member Joined: Aug 2006 Posts: 11 | I tried using Intercom #621 from a phone that needs to be changed. When I do it, I get "DATA PROGRAMMED" on the display and nothing else. Won't let do anything until it times out back to the IDLE screen.
What is the Admin Program? | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 49 Member | Member Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 49 | CTX Win Admin will be installed on a computer and then you can use ethernet to access to the Toshiba. | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 49 Member | Member Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 49 | Sorry further research shows that on a CTX #621 disables call forwarding. Go Back to the phone and press #620 to undo that.
You have to use the Admin software to change it.

Where can I find CTX Win Admin? Also, I did notice that the Phone System has an Ethernet Port, but it's not plugged into anything. If I were to hook it up to our network, does it use DHCP? Or is there a default IP/Subnet Mask is uses? | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 49 Member | Member Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 49 | You would have to get it from your dealer that installed the Phone System or get a Tech to come out and install it.
I believe it can use DHCP but the adapter can also be configured to a static address.

DHCP won't work. It has to be a static IP in program 916. The default IP address and subnet should already be in place. Greg should be able to get you going. If not, let me know.

Also, I've tried to use my Laptop (WinXP) with a cross-over cable plugged into the CTX and still not able to login. When I select the default profile, I get an error. Something about Failed to Connect Undefined Error -2147217389. | | | Forums95 Topics94,290 Posts639,132 Members49,425 | Most Online5,661 May 23rd, 2018 | |
