We have what appears to be a CTX670. Unfortunately the person who used to handle this system passed away and didn't leave proper documentation.
I've been tasked with correcting the names on the Phone LCD Display. From what I can tell, I need to do this from Extension 200 (we use 201 - 248). I can't find this extension anywhere. Is there some other way I can do this?
TIA!

Not sure if it works on the CTX.
But try Intercom #621
Then use the Dialpad to configure the name.
Or Use Admin Program.

I tried using Intercom #621 from a phone that needs to be changed. When I do it, I get "DATA PROGRAMMED" on the display and nothing else. Won't let do anything until it times out back to the IDLE screen.
What is the Admin Program?

CTX Win Admin will be installed on a computer and then you can use ethernet to access to the Toshiba.

Sorry further research shows that on a CTX #621 disables call forwarding. Go Back to the phone and press #620 to undo that.
You have to use the Admin software to change it.

Ok, I did the Intercom #620.
Where can I find CTX Win Admin? Also, I did notice that the Phone System has an Ethernet Port, but it's not plugged into anything. If I were to hook it up to our network, does it use DHCP? Or is there a default IP/Subnet Mask is uses?

You would have to get it from your dealer that installed the Phone System or get a Tech to come out and install it.
I believe it can use DHCP but the adapter can also be configured to a static address.

malbelo - Please complete your profile. We'll be better equipped to assist you.
DHCP won't work. It has to be a static IP in program 916. The default IP address and subnet should already be in place. Greg should be able to get you going. If not, let me know.

Umm, my profile is complete. As far as I know. Unless I'm missing something.
Also, I've tried to use my Laptop (WinXP) with a cross-over cable plugged into the CTX and still not able to login. When I select the default profile, I get an error. Something about Failed to Connect Undefined Error -2147217389.
