I am a newbie to Toshiba and have inherited support of this older system.

At one time I think it supported 8 CO lines and 16 or more station extensions.

We still have the 8 CO lines of which 1 has been isolated now for a fax.

Stations are being relocated in building and we are once again going from 6 stations to about 12 stations.

I have wired each jack and on the new phones
DKT2020-SD LCD the only display I see is
No 108 .... which I believe relates to the station now being 108

I can dial that from other stations and it does ring and do intercom.

Previously installed stations showed the following:

On several of the stations LCD displays
I see the following message codes:

CF-NA 101-7 What does this mean
CALL 101-7V

I believe the CF- NA relates to something like
Call Forwarding - No Answer

but perhaps someone can further explain the
rest of the coding

I also think the 101 means its extension 101
but what does the 7V mean?

I have been able to acquire 3 smaller Toshiba manuals:
Strata DK - Standard Telephone Users Guide
Strata DK - System Administrator Guide
Strata DK - Digital Telephone User Guide

and I believe I have seen a large 3 ring binder
contains some 300 to 400 pages which has I believe installation programming codes.
Something like 1 code per every page or so. With space to make notes at the bottom of each page. Which naturally the previous installers never made any notes.

Also the newly added extensions do light up when the phone is dialed but their is no ringing.
I can see the CO line lite up and I can answer it but there is no ringing to let me know that someone is calling unless I am looking at the phone.

Thnaks for helping this Toshiba Newbie.

I am better at giving support for computers perhaps in that area I can repay the favor.

7V seems to be the voicemail pilot number... If you dial 7 from your intercom does Voicemail answer?

CF-NA 101-7 should mean that ext. 101 is call forward no answer to ext. 7, 7 could be voicemail. I would call 101 and see where it is going. What kind of Toshiba system is it? Program 81 is the program used to program ringing of lines to extensions. When programming, port numbers are used in lieu of extension numbers. The pages you have are probably record sheets, but you can acquire a programming manual, it will give you detailed information on programming features. Hope this helps!

I know a little about a lot, and a lot about little.
