With the help of this forum I think I have everything working th way I want.
Here's the only outstanding issue I can not resolve.
I can not get the Message waiting on my phones.
Equipment: STRATAGY DK 4 port VM PHONE SYSTEM : TOSHIBA DK424 PHONES : EKT-6520 w/ LCD
Here's what I did.
I programmed button 20 to be a MW button on all the phones.
I enabled MW Cancel in program 10-2 LED 04
Can someone please explain everything else I need to do to get my Stratagy VM to light the message waiting button on my phone when someone leaves a message, and also if I need to do anything to unlight the button once messages are checked.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Did you program *32 for all ports in the phone system? This should be set to the first VM port for all phone ports. If that is already programmed, did you check the notification template set for the mailboxes in the VM? There should be a light on and off template set. The last thing is did you set ID codes on all the phones? This would be the VM and MSG light ID codes. These codes wouldn't have naything to do with turning on or off the lights, but if they aren't set then calls won't go to VM and when the MSG light is blinking it won't go to Vm whne pressed.

Program 13 has lowest vm port assigned? DTMF reciever installed? Recycled power after the processor was assigned as 92, 93 or 94 in program 03? Notification templates correct? Programmed MW lamps as 499 in prog 39?

Still not working.
I checked the Notification template, do I need to change from the default? It says Notify after 0 Minutes, then it looks like every 2 minutes after that.
It is enabled though and M-S is all Y's.
Also Amy said I should use program *32, but do I need to do this if I use program 13? Do I need both?

Everything appears to be setup correctly, but still no success. Can someone inform me what the notify template should be for the DK 424 phone system?
Here is what the current templates are.
There is a light on and a light off.
The Light On is
TITLE: COM 1-3D LIGHT ON TYPE: NORMAL VARIABLE: (NULL) METHOD: @S(1,'OP:MWI 0000000%U!\D')
Is this correct???
Also is there anything else that I should test?

Problem resolved. For some reason I assumed that the correct templates would've been loaded when I did the Plug and Play for the 424. All my issue was is I needed to select the DK424 templates.
I'm relieved but I wasted a good 4 hours on this. What a waste!!
