OK - here's another issue I am having today on a different IVP8R2 VM. Whe I connect remotely, I get a connection established but then I get the Handshake retry 1, 2 and 3 then it disconnects. Is this a bad modem on the VM or some other reason for the disconnect?

Try a different baud rate if you havent already. Or give it the ol' reboot. Could be a bad modem I guess.

Update: I actually got connected calling from my home line, but couldn't stay connected very long. I did get connected at a baud rate of 2400 and would get half way to where I needed tob e and then got dropped. I beleive the issue may be noise on the lines going into the system I am calling into. It took me an hour of redialing, but I was able to make 2 of the 3 changes I needed. Still trying to get the 3rd completed. Some say I should just go there, but it is 2.5 hours from me so this is easier as I can do other things while the progrma is dialing out.
