Hi All, I was wondering if the CTX670 has a feature to do traffic reports like the Mitel SX200 does. I'm asking because I'm having users complain that when people call thier direct line, the caller hears a busy signal. From my past experience with the Mitel system, usually when that happens, its when the line the dialin trunks are all used up, then I would use the traffic report to see if any of the Trunk lines are locked up with one another, (that usually happens after a conference call that involves cell phone users), so then i would disconnect the trunk thru the maintenance portion of the Mitel SX200. I'm still learning the CTX670, and I can't seem to find a feature like that on it. any information would be appreciated. thanks

You could collect SMDR data with something like ultimate communicator to see if all the channels on the PRI/T1 are in use. Or better yet ask you line provider to do a traffic study and save yourself the headache.

A newer procesor SW ver 4.x has a build in very simple trafic monitor, if enabled. I have not tried to use it yet.
If you had a PRI there is a 3rd party app call PRI Tracker, that plugs into the maintanance port on the PRI, to a PC's Serial, that can capture usage. It has a 30 trial.

Could it be that the direct line is busy and there is no roll-over line so another caller would hear a busy signal?
Is the direct line copper or a DID? In either case, if it is busy andthere is no rollover then a second caller would get a busy signal unless I am missing something?
