2 CIX systems with "issues". Lawyer who wants DND on so I changed SCF template to bsy/na-calls still will not forward to vm-goes back to main greeting (990). Manually set his phone to cfbna and he can't live with his name not appearing on the phone but it does go to his mailbox once the manual cfbna was set at his extension.

2nd: CTX28-set up MCG so X200 rings immediate, other extensions 12 second delay and 18 second delay to pilot DN of voice mail. X200 has no lines programmed to ring (PDN DOES RING) but calls still forward to X200 vm instead of pilot DN for auto attendant. Thanks for your assistance

#1. What is the software level in the CTX? Toshiba was aware of a problem around R2 or so, where DND wouldn't work when SCF was used. I would upgrade to the lastest software an make more test calls.

#2. Like Steve said check the VMID. The MCG should NOT have a VMID assigned.

Also, check the CFNA timer in System Timers. This should be longer than the Delay timers in the MCG.

As long as you are only ringing one phone in immediate mode, the call will CFNA to MB200 if the timers are not set right. If more than one station rings, the call will not fwd.

Do the second set of phones ever ring? What is the total elasped time before the VM answers?

Thanks for the replies. The lawyer decided he could live w/the cfbna on the display and I guess you can hit the page key to display the name. Toshiba said to "re-initialize" the cfwd timers and that didn't do anything. One tech at Toshiba said he NEVER uses system cfwd.

One thing many techs would do in the case of DND fpwarding correctly, is to change the DND to a Call Foward always button, and program it to th VM pilot. When you press the button, it lights just lake a DND, and sends all calls to voicemail.

You could even lable it DND and would look the same.

I don't know why you would not use the system Call fowarding.
