Hi,

I was given the task of modifying the company greetings & a few other instruction boxes on a Strata DK424 PBX's Stratagy voice mail.

I've managed to identify the relevant mailboxes used for the greetings, instructions, name dir, etc but have no idea how to modify their content.

I'm able to access the default admin ext: 999 but option 8 doesn't give me much to work with in terms of system administration, aside from locking / unlocking users and recording a system announcement and background music.

Where do I go from here?

Last thing, is there a repository where I can get backup copy of the Stratagy software?

cheers,

Peter

Indeed, that I already know wink

How to change the actual greeting is my issue... since ext: 999 doesn't appear to offer that option.

Basically I'd like to change the content by having the receptionist re-record the greets & instructions given. As well, do recording need to be done from ext: 200 exclusively?

cheers,

Peter

You have to log in to 990 and 991 to change the header and instructions. Log in to mailbox, press 3 for mailbox options, 1 to change greeting, 1 for greeting 1, 2 to record, don't forget to press 9 to save.

Just listen to the prompts. It's very easy.

You can log in from any station.
