hey guys I have tried all day and every cable and port to connect to this VM and it will not let me in.. I have a IVP8 revision 2 and I am using Stratagy Admin Version UADM 2.0 and it keeps telling me everytime I try to log into it that Stratagy is not running or nothing is connected?? Do I have a bad VM or am I not doing something...ANy help would be greatly appreciated..

could be either, ive seen it where the stratagyR2 status light goes green but system is hosed...

make sure you can dial into stratagy and it answers...

if thats all good then make sure you have proper cable and com port settings are good on your laptop, has to be com1 or 2 and 56000 baud

My understanding is that UAdmin 2.0 is NOT for the IVP8 R2 you need either XAdmin4 or UAdmin 2.1

Voyager are 100% sure about the software issue?? I also forgot to mention I tried to do the 512mb space upgrade and heard if I didn't up do something before installing it that it would hose the VM.

There is a tech bulletin on how to do the upgrade on FYI. If you follow that step by step, you should be OK. SSPhone has done a couple of them.

99.99% sure. UAdmin2.0 was for the GVMU in the CTX28. When they came out with the CIX40, they upgraded the Adnin program to 2.1 and made it backward compatible. I would get UAdmin2.1 and eliminate that as the issue.
