Hello, I have a Stratagy DK in-skin voicemail, and am using version VSA.26 of the admin software. I have been using an external Zoom modem on COM1, which works OK, but I want to switch to an internal Zoom V.34I on COM3.
When I attempt to connect with the internal modem, I get the usual "Initializing modem..." which tells me the software is seeing the modem, but then I get "Unable to get the right status while initialize the modem".
The setup string I use for the external modem is AT&F&C1&D2L0Q0V0X0E1.
Also, using the external modem and Windows XP, I get disconnected frequently (usually within about a minute). I can stay connected using Windows 98 or NT 4. I'm told by the dealer that my admin software version is the latest, and that he has the same problem getting disconnected with XP.
Any suggestions?

Com 3 and 4 will not work as options on the admin software, not sure why they even put them as an option if they were not going to allow them to work. You have to be on COM 1 or 2 on your programming computer.
