Hello all,
CTX-670 with a Stratagy ES Voicemail System. The voicemail system died. We installed a temporary IVP. At this point those who had voicemails before the faliure had the message button blinking. The Stratagy ES was fix and has been reinstalled; however the red message buttons are still blinking for those who had messaage before the failure and we cannot get them to stop blinking. Pressing the button doesn't do anything.
For those who didn't have a voicemail when the old ES died the buttons work perfectly. Any thoughts? Have tried #409.

If you have a last known backup, then reload from it. Otherwise, the only other way I've found is to delete and re-create the extensions that have this problem.

Sometimes I've noticed it takes multiple tries of #409 to get rid of the light. Most stubborn one took 5 tries on a CIX 40 once.

I've found that when there is a MSG light from a previous Voicemail, where the extensions where removed, that #409 doesn't work.
I have only been able to fix it by deleting the extension.

Your right, I have to delete the extensions and re-create them.
