Got a call from one of our customers that a phone was acting wierd , when I got there the phone(DKT-2020sd) intercom and msg. button were both flashing, strange thing is that this had happened before on the same phone, I switched to a different port to solve problem.Phone in question is new phone , I checked from the frame and still had problem, I even replaced PDKU and problem was still there. The first time it happened it was on a card in cabinet 2 , the second time it was in cabinet 4, anyone ever seen this??

Let me guess. It is rel.3 software. That's a bug. Next time try this:

hold, int., hold, spkr.

a reboot usually works too.

Strange things like this happen when someone inadvertently connects TWO phones to the same port. This happens if you x-connect two jacks to the same port with the thought that a user is going to move to a new desk location and will discconnect the phone and move it.... time goes by and then someone new moves into the old desk location and plugs in a phone.... then you have mysterious problems.... hope this helps.
