Hi!
So, the display on my phone says "SENT 19 - which doesn't bother me .. BUT when anyone tries to forward a call to me, and I do not pick up, it kicks back to them. Won't go in my voicemail. And since they are all such loving and helpful ladies- they are being completelt understanding about it.not.
I have a strong feeling that the two are related, and I have looked in the manual to see if it has to do with call forwarding, but OMG the manual might as well be in hierogliphics.
there is no extension 19, so if my calls are being forwarded to ext 19- that would explain why .. but how do I turn it off? :bang:

#409 from your intercom button should take that off of your screen.
you should also check to see if your phone is forwarded to voicemail. sounds like its not so the calls are recalling back to who transfered it.

What Steve Mull said (#64 19) should clear it.
----
To answer your feeling that they are related...
The two are not related.
----
The "SENT 19" is an internal messaging feature.
This works by :
Station A calling station B. Before station A ends the call, they press the MSG button on their phone.
This does 3 things :
1. Lights the MSG light on station B. 2. Leaves an indication on the LCD of station A that says "SENT B". 3. Leaves an indication on the LCD of station B that says "CALL A"
So when station B presses the MSG button, it rings back to station A. If both stations lift the handset and then hang up, the MSG lights and LCD's clear.
----
The calls transfered to your phone that do not forward to voice-mail, are because of a recall timer.
This is one of two things :
1. Call Forwarding (CF) was not done at all, or incorrectly on your phone. 2. Call Forwarding timer is greater than the recall timer.
Do you see anything that says CF-XX or CFBN-XX on your display? (press the scroll and or page keys at the bottom of the display a few times if you don't see it, that may bring it up)

I tried the codes above (#64 19) and nothing happened. I just discovered the extension showing "sent ###" is "available" so no one will ever call me back and remove the "sent" display.
It affects me because I used to look at my phone for date and time, now it is not displaying since "sent ###" is there. I can't remove it. Please help.

Sam say ROLL TIDE 3 times and The Bear was the greatest Football Coach that ever lived and I will forgive you for digging up a 7 month old post These post were based on the Toshiba DK products. Assuming you are using a DK system and the ### you listed is a ext on the system does it fall within the range of the phones around you? Did you try Speaker #64 ### (the 19 in the other example was because the original poster had SENT 19) Does your system have voicemail? Maybe you can dial voicemail and then the ### ext number and hear the greeting of the owner of the ext you cant find. Or you can always leave a message on their phone press the MSG button and when the phone is ringing press the MSG button again.

Thanks, guys. I don't answer the switchboard anymore, but the new person in reception had the same issue I had last year. I tried the "77" fix and it worked. Thanks again,
