Hey VAD,

I guess the guys who installed my SV7000 didn't leave that feature list on site. The SV7000 is nothing more than a 2400's IP version. There is one feature I do like about the system is the Fusion capability but unfortunately we would have need to install SV7000's at all 36 locations nationwide and that would have been very expensive.

I did also go to 2400 installation and maintenance school for two weeks before the Christmas Holidays last year. The building and the people are very nice, but still this would not be my first choice of product. Remember this is only my opinion.

Thank you for your all suggestion,

From my understanding, CIX 670 should be compared to NEAX 2000 IPS, right? So in order to have suitable comparison, I would like compare CIX 670 and NEAX 2000 IPS.

Which is a strong point and weak point of CIX 670 when compare to NEAX 2000 IPS..

Thank you again in advance

bbox and vad60 you should at least give him a feature comparison...

Just a broad "Its Better" statment doesnt hold much weight....

I dont know to much about the nec product features so im interested in what it can do that the 670 cant as well ...

Hey Guys,
This conversation is useless because nobody would compare features one by one. All who is doing telephony for many years would understand that system with 25,000 ports more flexible that system with 670 ports. We are talking about numbering plans, Advance Routing, ACD, Call Centers and many other things that we are not considering in Small to Midium sizes configurations. When it comes to 1-3 T1s its one thing but when its come to 10-20 T1s its totally different game. So let stop talking about what system is better. All system that out there in the Market today are farelly good but we prefer what we know better or less expensive. And remember like Tadiran said, and I am totally agree, it is only my personal opinion.
