I have one I have never seen before. I figured I would double check with everybody here to see if they have seen it before.
I have a small DK14 that the * key does not work on ANY of the phones. It is the strangest thing I have seen. Also it takes pressing # a couple times before it registers.
Also one other thing. On one of the phones, one of the ladies cleaned the phone and now says when she is on the phone and a call comes on it rings in her ear as well.
Are we just looking at bad phones?

You need to program a speed dial key(code 497) on all phones. This will allow the use of * and #. As far as the handset ringing, try redial volume down at the same time.

Yup, just what p2ii said...
You probably had to press * # * to get the * to work and * # # to get the # to work.
All the Dk and earlier systems up to the CIX/CTX series had to have the Speed Dial key programmed on the keystrip to have * & # recognized.
