I have a question about an actu2a processor we acquired from a used system.

The processor says it only has 16 licenses but there is no -s on the board. Is it possible it has reverted to only 16 licenses for some reason. I know it used to have 32.

If so how can i get the licenses back on?

Thanks

Only by an authorized Toshiba Dealer. I've never seen a processor decrease the number of licenses.

Thanks Voyager

The bad news is i am not sure where this card came from...

Anyone want to trade an actu2a processor for a T1 card or a couple of BDKU's?

As far as I've ever seen, a processor can not "lose" licenses or for that matter even be reassigned to new equipment.

Call Toshiba Tech Support and they can give you the exact number of licenses assigned to that processor, as well as inform you if they could be removed.

Let us know what you find out... I am really interested.

Thanks

Mac - I know that you can move licenses from one Serial number to another. This has to be done with Toshiba on the phone with you. I've had to do it in Tampa once. But you have to make sure that the processor is a TAIS Serial number and NOT one that came from Canada. Thats the biggest issue with buying them on e-bay and the like.
