Hi .... I'm getting pretty desparate....

I'm currently having a couple of problems with this phone system that we have. It is a CTX100 with a strategy DK voice mail card. First question is: does anyone have the software needed to program this card? I would really appreciate that if I could get it.

Okay, my problems are as follows. Firstly, and most importantly... The voicemail had been working great for years, and now when the reception phone is set to night ring, it rings for 4 rings (which is what we want) and then it goes to voicemail (850). When it goes there, we hear the message & then it says press 2 to leave a message in the general mailbox. When 2 is pressed, it then rings reception again instead of going to voicemail. After a while, it will then play a message which is our holiday message. Also, when it rings back to reception, the reception phone says "transfer Ln 1 from 850"

This is a huge problem, as no one can leave an after hours message. Is this going to be a strategy programming issue, or a ctx programming issue? And either way, any idea on how to resolve it?

Next problem is: I set up a MCG a couple weeks ago with this forum's help (thanks very much!). It was working perfect, except the reception needs to have a way of having someone cover her if she steps out for a couple minutes. We used to be able to set a forward on her phone & it would go anywhere, but it won't forward. So I was forced to set all calls to go back to reception instead of the MCG. Now it will ring to 5 different phones all at once during the day unless the phone is forwarded to itself (CF 200-200)

Anything would be helpfull....please....

Thanks in advance!

PM sent....

This isn't really an end-user question. You need professional help! call

#1 Simplified answer....You need to set up an Operator mailbox and direct digit 2 to it. You may have one, but It doesn't sound like its configured properly. I do these all the time, once you get it in your head, its really pretty simple.

#2 One way is to set up another MCG that includes her back-up extensions. Set DAY2 mode to ring the 2nd MCG. When steps away from her desk, all she has to do is press NIGHT-2. That will direct all calls to the 2nd MCG.

Think about that, then feel free to call me.
