NEC DSX 40

XBlue X16

Unfortunatly you will get this answer from tons of systems vendors that can do what you are asking.

Might I suggest looking at the dealer/installer. That is were you will need to be comfortable. You want to make sure they are qualified on the product they sell, are able to sustain business (not go out of business). You also want to get refs from each of them.

There are several highly qualified dealers in your area that are also frequent posters here at Sundance. You might look a few up.

Hello, new member here.
I'm also looking for new system. I have quotes from 3 vendors so far on 3 diff systems.
Cisco -$$$$$$ Cha-ching, but very high-end
ESI-50 system, very nice, really liking it
NEC Aspire(S), nice but not as impressive as ESI

Our current req. are:
4 POTS
Live Answer
V-mail for up to 22 extensions(some traveling salespersons to access from road)
15 physical stations
Seeing when an user is on the phone or on-cover
Wants are:
Expandable past 30 stations
Adding more POTS or going T1
Notifying out of office persons when v-mail received
Possible VoIP for expnding regional offices

Anyone see any downside to the NEC? The quote I have is still less than 2500 than the ESI. Is the ESI that much better?
Thanks

It's all in the vendor you pick. The NEC might be allot cheaper but if the company installing it is no good then it won't work properly. I always throw away the highest and the lowest quote. Look for the people that are in the middle and have good references.
And don't buy Cisco over price with little features.

You cannot go wrong with the ESI, awesome platform, features, reliability and manufacturer.

Where you quoted the 5 year ADVANCED replacement hardware warranty? Best warranty in the business.

What JordonJ said with the added comment, Panasonic KX-TDA50. Outgrow it and take the phones to the next 3 platforms, 100, 200, and if you get just absolutely huge, the 600! (Most brands have the capability of 'taking the phones to the next larger platform(s)') And ask about the TDE, VOIP like CISCO, without the $$$$$$$ and still uses the TDM phones, too. John C.
