On our Strata CIX, when you page another room the phone will keep beeping until they pick it up. The person dialing the extension can override this by pressing the number '2' and it will cause the phone to go to speakerphone so that you can talk and see if anyone is in the room.
This is fine in certain situations, but I actually find it pretty rude because I get a lot of calls that they do not even let it beep a few times before hitting '2'. They just call an hit '2' to go right to speakerphone and start talking. A lot of times I will be in a conversation with someone standing in my office and this really irritates me. Is there some way that I can take this option off for my one extension and leave it for the rest of the campus?

-Build a new class of service for yourself and uncheck FB20 to turn off handsfree override.
-Assign your phone to the new COS.
-Set your phone to Tone first in the DKT options.
Voila!
