Welcome to the board moggey!

welcome

I'm in the dark about your questions right now, so if you could explain with some more detail, that would great!

Could you fill out your profile too? Thanks!

The first item you refer to "dig trace", is that an IP/DNS tracing program?

The second "t0/t2", I have no knowledge of.

The same goes for the third "dass lines", except my Googling of it says it's a form of ISDN line from BT.

I think he wants to know about the Toshiba digitrace program for the RPTU/BPTU and how to read the output. There is no reference material for technicians regarding the output of the data. All I have to say is either you know it or you don't. I sure can't make most of what is there. That's why I have to send the log files to tech support.

Ahhh... okay, thanks phonemeister.

I haven't thought about that program forever... and used it maybe twice.

As far as I recall the only thing you can understand without translation is the Time Stamps on it.

For sure that's something for TS to handle... unless you can find a CG that has the "read" program for it.

Thank you phonemeister and MacOSX for your responses, phonemeister is correct, Toshiba Uk
are a bit slow on reading traces that we send them often we have to wait weeks for a response whislt our customer suffers with the problems and as usual our network provider (BT) says they can't find a fault. Many thanks for your responses.

For future reference. T0 are isdn 2 lines , T2 and Isdn 30 lines and Dass is Bt's version of Isdn 30 lines which are no longer supported by Toshiba from Ctx onwards.
