Is it possible to configure the DK424 4.0 for NFAS on the PRI interface?

Yes but only 2 circuits sharing a d channel. Recommend 4.3 software if possible.

I am having on of those crisis moments. Were moving our home office this weekend. the circuit was ordered with NFAS not NI-2. Were being told this is not a compatable protocol by our local Toshiba dealer. any suggestions as to who we could turn to for getting this going?

They are saying its incompatible because more than likly they dont know NFAS is. I would bite the bullet and get NI-2 as quickly as possible.

You're setting up future service calls if your current dealer is claiming it isn't compatible. In the same sense... they should be able to program it. BTW, (just curious) any reason for ordering that?

4ess is just the CO switch that is handling your circuit. 4ess's are are and were used mainly for LD with AT&T.
As long as you can get NI-2 from the carrier you should be good to go.

So, have them come out and program the DK for NFAS so long as you have only 2 circuits per NFAS assignment. Will it handle a 4ess switch? I don't see why not if it supports NI-2 like you had mentioned earlier.
