I have a customer with CIX40 rev 1, with a CS5500 fax switch on CO line 4. I keep getting calls about that line being locked up and the only way it will clear is to either unplug the fax switch and or the CIX40, sometimes both. Previously had the Central Office put on COD, clear on disconnect, as if it were a pay phone, has worked on first three lines for about a week with no problems. Just put this on last thursday.
They are also using AutoAttendant off and on during the day/night, manual. It is a church camp and they are in full swing for the year. This is a brand new system, Previously had a CTX28. Any comments or suggestions?
Tech support keeps pointing me at the phone company, they, of course point me back at Toshiba. Customer kinda testy.

You can always use a meter to see if the CO is sending the spike to clear.

You could try to connect the CO line direct to the fax and see if you get the same problem also check the Cix40's cod timer, used to have a similar problem on 280's with cod timer set to 450ms on the system and co lines set to 100ms
