Hello All,
I am new to this phone system and actually don't have that much exp. with a PBX setup so let me apologies first for my lack of knowledge.
My issue is that I must have somehow goofed when I was in the DKadmin (dos based) software. I have been trying to replace the ext modem we use for our dummy term to login and make changes, add lines, etc. Somewhere along the line it has stopped letting me in. When I put in the userID I have always been using... I get "**** is not a valid user name, please try again!"
to the best of my knowledge I have changed nothing....what could have changed the UserID and what files would I need to look at to correct it...better yet how can I fix it to accept the original UserID.
I hope this makes sense as I am the New Guy and would like to fix my goof! I hope this does not interfere with the guidelines but I am trying to find out if there is a default UserID for DK admin ?
Thanks in advance for any help -Eddie
Edited: Please do not post login names and/or passwords. Thank you.

Eddie - First, to the board. Second, please, no apologies for lack of knowledge. We all had to start somewhere. Next, If I am reading you right you're referring to the username and password to get into DKiAdmin. I am sending you a PM.

Yes, the modem went and I was setting up a new one and checking the settings and the dkadmin software started acting up so I closed out of it. Now it will not let me in with the main admin account. Where would I edit user accounts and such without having access to the main administrative account?

Good News! - got it fixed... I was able to reinstall the software and then copy over the differences from the old folder and it worked - I am back in business!
