I've been looking on FYI for minimum system requirements for the new DP 5000 series phones. So far they work on older 100 noting only two lines of the display used. But just today I could not get one to work on a 670 using release 3.10 system software. The 670's processor is to old to upgrade to release 5. The phone would display "connection denied".

They will run on older releases but run in 3000 series mode (two lines like you said).
Are you trying to use the DP5022-SDM? That one was designed for the CIX-40 only. We found it will work on a CTX-28 also but I have not tried it on a 3.XX release CIX-100 or CIX-670.

Your right, that was an SDM I had on the 670. Nice catch. I'll try the SD.
