Originally posted by Enoch: See, I told you I was technologically impaired. The model # on the phone is DKT2010-SD. I saw the post from the bunnie and I almost posted "Don't turn over the phone and read the model number from the phone", as most people do. That phone is usually connected some type of DK phone system, but sometimes people upgrade to a CTX system and use the same phones. The #621 code will work for a DK, or if it is a CTX will turn off system call fowarding.

Thanks for the response but I am still confused. I tried #621 and the LCD read "data programmed." I hope I didn't program something that is going to hurt. All I need to do is change the LCD display to read the name of the new user. Can't I work with the "Mode, page scroll" buttons?
The system is CIX100-0x8PKG with 24 Digital Station Ports: 8 Loop Start lines: 2 analog ports; 1 DKT2304-CT and IVP8-R2-4 Voicemail.

Not unless a phone is setup for admin mode , or using Emanager is the only way. You need to dial intercom #620 , #621 will disable system call forward on the CTX/CIX. #620 is for the older DK systems.

That is why the model of the phone won't help get your answers. The system type is a Toshiba Strata CIX 100. Most people call it a CIX or use the older term CTX. The DKT-2000 series phones are older, but your comapnay likely saved a few $ by reusing the older phones with a new system.
So do enter #620 at that same extension, as Steve said, to reactivate your call fowarding. Also restating what Steve said, it is unlikely you can change the names without the programing software unless the admin feature is turned on by a Toshiba tech, which it is almost always turned off.
