Has anyone experienced a problem with message notification on Teleco perfect voice, we have a customer who say's that sometimes they dont get notification of a new message for ages even upto 3 weeks, we have upgraded to software release 5.0.2 but still the same, all the smdi settings have been checked, all vm ports are ok, the Teleco is not even generally that busy.

Hello RobB,

Welcome to the board! I have not experienced any delays on the Tis16S2, after the upgrade to 5.0.2... What are some more details of the problem/system? - time of day, number of occurrences, number of ports, etc.

Also, do you have VM to email active on this system?

Hi MacOSX many thanks for your reply, we were hoping the upgrade would cure the problem but it is still occuring, the fault is pretty random, time doesnt seem to matter, it is an 8 port card, voicemail to email isn't enabled , we have upgraded the Cix 670 to Mt015,the system is mostly made up of call centre agents, smdi intergration is running, when a user gets notification the message will say it was left at an earlier date, it maybe a day but in one extreme it was three weeks !!!, they have dialled into their vm box and found a new message but have had no notification, we have ran tests onsite but cannot replicate the fault, we only know it has happend when the customer calls complaining

Can you turn on vm to email? This will help determine where the issue is. Typically what is happening in these cases is that the user is hitting "1"(most vm use 1 as the play button)by accident which skips the message but leaves in the box as new. The next time a message is received (maybe days later) this message will show up and appear as if it had never been delivered when in reality, it had. Turning on vm to email should isolate this as it works independently of the msg light notification. Let's see if that helps.
