I just bought a used IES 32 VM card in a Toshiba phone switch. However I do not know what the IP address is or how to find it so that I can not acces the cardto set it up. Does anyone know how I can get the IP Address and subnet so that I can access this card. Or is there a way to reset it back to defult so that I can just start fresh if so what is the defult ip and subnet.

If the voicemail is up and running in a system, use a phone to call the voicemail system and press 987 (resating what Steve said). If you don't know the admin password then it may be difficult.

The voicemail system is running software on a hard drive with windows OS, so there is not a defualt button. The only way I know to reload the database is to log into the system, which would require you to know the IP address.

Only other option would be to find the ip address with a packet sniffer.

Hello,

Get into phone prgramming
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
the default password xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Get into program xxx press xxx this should give you the 1st digits of the IP address of the voice mail press the xxxxxx button to move to the next entry.
I hope this helps.
Edit:
