I am running myself up against a wall here. I have a Strata DK424i system that uses the insight dk system for acd monitoring. I have been tossed into the position of maintaining this phone system so I do not know a whole lot. The documentation I have been able to find in the office is not too helpful either. I have recently been asked to provide two new extensions(which we have)
I can transfer calls and the extensions can make outgoing calls. I have programmed all of the flexible buttons to match our general button layout. With the exception of buttons 1 and 10. button 10 is programed to match the port number(both logical and physical are the same). Button 1 is programmed to their acd port.
The found some instructions that the person who set up our phones originally left, but I try and follow them and it does not work.
I can put all of the instructions here but have refrained because it is quite a bit of info. Right now my first step that I am failing on is setting button 10 to forward to their ACD PhDN. I go to the phone in question(extention 77 port 055) and press button 10, and then #601. I try to enter extension 77 then to forward calls to that extension and it does not let me. My next step is to use program *04 to make ACD phantom 671 match the extension 77.
Can anyone give me any advice or tips, or tell me what I am missing. I am sorry if this is too much info or not enough, let me know what I need to find out and I will do so.
Thank you
Grant

Can I ask why you want to forward your PDN to the phDN on the same phone?

I always forwarded my PDN to my PHDN on ACD phones as well. Thought it made it easier for the user.
Several issues.
1st set PHDN ownership in Prog *33 So port 671 = 055 in your case.
2nd if Prog 04 055=77 then your PDN = 77. And your PDN is button 10, You can not forward to the same key.
So Do not have your PHDN (671) the same as your PDN(055) the system does some strange things.
I always left the PHDN default 671=671. Then you could forward your PDN (77) to 671.
It looks like your system is all 2 digit though, so that may conflict, just make them different numbers.

Phonemeister, The instructions I was left, as well as all of the working phones around forward the PDN to the phDN. As I understand it this is how they are able to log into our Insight DK ACD. Sorry for the slow reply, I am out of the office Tuesday Afternoon and all Wednesday.

I checked program 04 and have port 055 = 77. So my PDN is 77. I went back and checked in program 39. I have button 10 programmed as ##055(like my other phones). I have button 0 programmed to ##671. I go to the phone and try button 10, #601 and try and enter 77 for ext 77 and have no luck. I will try making the PHDN = PHDN and see if I have any luck. Thanks Grant

Program *33 will not allow me to set it equal to itself. I tried 671 = 671 and it would not work.

Prog *33 671=055
Make *04 671=671 (if there are no conflicts) If *04 671=77 then 04 055 can not = 77
Make sense?

Sorry, was given a slight phone break, that does make sense, I have set it up so prog *33 671-055 and prog *04 671-671. I went to the phone and was able to forward the proper extension now. Set everything up in my ACD and I have some phones that log in now. Thank you for all of the help guys.

One more problem. The phones themselves do not ring when they are called. I can go to another phone and dial the extension of one of the new phones I added and it just lights up button 0. if the volume button is pressed the phone starts to ring. Any ideas why this would have changed?
