We currently have installed the Toshiba CTX 100 system. We have a license that converts voice mail into .wav files and the system sends the files to designated e-mail addresses for remote listening. Does anyone know if and how the telephone system can convert the file into a different format such as: MP3,WMA,AAC,AAC+ or EAAC+
These formats can be played on black berry's and would allow our staff to access their VM's quickly while on the go.
Thanks in advance,
Joe Bob David, of NJ

You could use a 3rd party app to convert it upon arrival and FWD it to the BB

The latest BBs do play back that .wav file but make sure that the Stratagy is set for codec code 5 in system parameters. If not, set it to 5 and restart Stratagy.

I have my iES32 set to '5' like Tom suggested and I get the .wav files all the time on my Blackberry. I get them from the Toshiba as well as the Telrad IPeX.
