Why doesn't it call forward externally. I programmed speed dial bin 49 with the telephone number, format, 801 Truch Access code, then the phone number 421XXXX so the bin 49 entry is 801421XXXX. Then I programmed a DID truck to ring extension 205. 205 Rings in on the intercom from the DID truck, but I don't call forward, it just rings. In program 39 I created a Call Forward External button, Button Code 460, and when I active the button the display indicates CF-EXT. I must be missing something,,Please Help, I feel like screaming

Do you have lines assigned to group 01 , which is 801 in program 16 ? What happens when you dial intercom 801 ?

Also, make sure you don't have true 10-digit dialing -> you may just have to add the area code.

test the station speed bin by pressing speed 49, do you get the destination or an intercept that call cannot be completed, if so you might have centrex lines and need to include the centrex 9, 8 or whatever the code maybe so the bin 49 =8019xxx-xxxx

Wow, I would like to thank each one of you for your great suggestions. I programmed the speed dial 49 with the truck group access code 801 and then the number I wanted to call forward to and yes if I dial intercom 801 is did access the first CO line. Great idea. As for the 10 digit dailing, tried that too, Thanks. And yes I tried the speed dial bin and it accessed the outside line and dialed the number,,,Thanks Stew. The one thing I hadn't tried mainly it wasn't mentioned anywhere, wow, program 15-5 that did it, Thanks Phonemeister and thanks everyone else, What a great resource.
