30 years ago, every quarter TE&M magazine had a supplement called "Telco Craftsman". I loved that magazine as I was a new guy climbing poles and digging ditches.

One regular column in that magazine was called "day in the life of a lineman". One of those articles described an install for a woman that had a house full of cats. Stink so strong that the installer refused to go in. We recently had a similar incident with one of our installers. I told him he never had to go into a situation like that again.

But I digress, anyone know if there is a library or archive of those magazines anywhere? I would dearly love to have a copy of the cat article. Hit me off list if you have a copy or know where I can get a copy. [email protected]

You mean Art doesn't have a complete archive of them?!?

We have an almost complete archive of "The Party Line" and later "Last Word" when it became Americas Network magazine. But Art wasn't involved in Telco Craftsman magazine and we never archived the whole magazine, just our own columns. BTW, I got to write some of the columns. I almost always copy edited them and most moths proposed the theme. But sometimes they were all me. I am very proud of that.
