I am new to the forums and have limited Toshiba experience. I have a CIX670. Here is my question:

I created a Multi-Call Group with three Member DNs and VM transfer. I configured a menu option on another mailbox (option 3) to access the MCG. All works fine, when the caller selects option 3 they are transferred to the MCG, both lines ring, the third rings after Delay1 and the caller is taken to VM if none of the three answer. The problem is that when the caller presses 3 to transfer the attendant says "Please hold while I try that extension". As the MCG is processed the caller hears no ring. The phones are ringing but the caller hears only silence. Some callers are hanging up before they get VM (about 8-10 seconds). Is there a way to get a ring tone for the caller?

In the mailbox for the MCG, put an H after the MCG pilot number in the extension field.

Agreed - Music On Hold or Ring-back.

Are you looking for anything to let them know they haven't been disconnected (ie - RBT or MOH) or are you looking for an ACD type of feature, like "There are 3 calls ahead of you, etc..."?

I'm going with phonemeister. Put an H for blind tranfer in voicemail and they will get ring back tone.
