I have a CIX670, numbers follow: Equipment Type: CIX670 : B--U Equipment Version: AR5.20 MT022.00 VM Sofware Version: 5.5.26
Is there any way to see current call connections over the PRI? i.e. Inbound and outbound connections?
My problem is that our carrier is billing us for 15 channels but claim that we are getting 23 channels only they are not billing us for the additional 8. :read: Awfully kind of them but I would just like to make certain of this.
Thanx in advance!
Michael

Is the system programed for 15 or 23 ?? If 15 enable the other 8 B channels and see what happens.

From your answer I assume that if its programmed for 23 then there must be 23. I am also guessing then that there is no (easy) way to view the connections in realtime? Thanx for the quick response!! Yes if it is programed for 23 then you are getting 23. If your system has a BSIS , then you could program it for SMDR and use Procom or Hyper Terminal to view the calls

Are there any additional benefits (other than described here) to having the serial interface? Thanx again Steve!

If you are programmed for 23 and you can make a phone call out then you should be good to go with 23 channels. If you were programmed for 23 and only had 15 enabled from the CO, you would get a call failed..

That makes much sense!! Because outbound works fine I will agree that we have 23. At $20 per channel I probably won't complain either :shhh: The link to PRI Tracker looks broken (using OpenDNS). I will try again later. Thanx again (to each of you) for the help!! Michael

It did not work for me either. I have had problems in the past with that site working off and on.

Pick a quiet moment and see how many calls you can actually make this is the easiest test to do. it will cost you a few cents for each call unless you use a toll free number.
