I have one PABX HAVING RS-232 serail port for maintenance Port
can you please let me know which Modem supports

so that i can connects one extension in modem

Dear sir,
PABX is Tadiran Ipx 500

I have already tried with Dlink modem
(DFM-560ES)with KB0
the problem is MODEM is offhooked LED indicatios are
MR OH CD
but transmission and receiving is not working

please help me to solve this issue as my internal MODEM OF Tadiran is Faulty

It's possible the modem on the backplane was not strapped correctly, you should have a certified tech check it for you. Make sure the modem and KB0 are set at the same baud rate. It's been a long time since I have hooked any modem up to a serial port like that I specifically remember you have to set the modem up properly to be used in that fashion on anything and it involves re-writing some s-registers on the modem itself. I would look at the dlink documentation and/or websight. You might even need a null modem cable..but like I said it's been a while.

Anyone else have an idea? It's a standard serial port.

1,Modem has been checked correctly in the mother board of IPX 500
2,Please let me know how to configure baud rate setting in modem
3, I have connected only Tx Rx and ground
4, Modem is get of hooked but connectivity is nothappening
5, I unable to find website to get the documentation
of D-link model DFM-560ES

If someone will share what the Tadiran IPX500 "wants" to see, I'm only happy to help you configure the modem.

I'm no Tadiran guy, but I know my modem stuff pretty well.

Can anyone post something about this so I may help this gentleman, please?
