Hello All! Disclainer!! Not a phone tech here but I do handle small tasks with the phone system for my company. Ok.. Here it is: I have a CTX100 with a PRI card and MIPU card installed and working. One remote office using IPT5000 series phones connected back to the corp. office through a site to site VPN with DID's attached to the extensions. Problem: If a 911 call is placed, emergency services will come to the home office! This has not happened yet thank God. I have talked with our local phone company and they tell me they will not support cama trunks. What can we do with the phone system to have emergency services to go to the correct location?

you could put a IPT2010F-SDC on the remote site, this supports a CO line in the base of the handset so in case of emergency you could just use that line or if you have a seperate fax you could use that line but if you dont then for the sake of the extra expense you might as well just have a seperate CO installed

Also, in our case, our carrier offers a service known as PS ALI which can provide your PSAP with specific location information. In our case, we have a central building, and 3 outlying buildings all on the same system. When a 911 call is placed from any of those buildings, we sent a specific Caller ID (usually the direct dial # of the phone) which triggers a lookup on the carrier side and they send on address, location in building, etc. based on the outgoing CID.
I've only used this in an area served by one PSAP, so I don't know how/if it would work on a larger scale, but it may be what you need.
