We currently have two sites in which have a point-to-point T1 dedicated for voice traffic. Both sites are using the Toshiba CIX670 system and each have their own PRI. We are taking away our PRI circuit from one of our locations and piping into a new location (which is a non-toshiba system).
We have a 2500 block and a 5600 block of numbers. We have all ready moved the 2500 block of numbers from the PRI that will be going away to a PRI that is connected to our other building that has the Toshiba system and everything is working as it should after importing the DIDs into that system.
My question now is, what will I need to change to pipe Outgoing calls from using the PRI to using the Point-to-Point connection, then out that PRI line???
For Outgoing Line Groups, I have 4 that are in the system now. 2 for Analog, and 2 for ISDN as it is labeled on the side in eManager.
If anyone can help me out, that would be great.

You will have to use LCR programming to route the calls over the P2P and out the PRI on the remote node. LCR can get quite confusing if you are unfamiliar with it. If thats the case you may want to enlist the help of a seasoned Toshiba tech.

I know our current Toshiba vendor has made us very unhappy on commitment times and how they do things.
I know currently we have a 4 digit dial between sites. Shouldn't there be some sort of LCR for that that I can go off of?
Also isn't there a way to display a table of all the LCR like you can with Station Assignments and DISs, etc?

Don't forget 911! You will probably have to keep at least 1 POTS line connected to the site that is losing its PRI.
Nothing like having the emergency services show up 50 miles away at the home office!

Since we all ready have a point-to-point t1 between sites now, and 4 digit dial run between the two... would it be as simple as just changing the Flexible Access code from 9, to accessing an Outside line, to 9 to access an OLG and change it to one of the 4 that we have setup. whichever is the correct one?

You could also dial the node id followed by 9 and the number to dial out.

If I were to dial the Node ID, then a 9 to get out... would it be possible to tell the system to automatically dial the Node ID?
From a user standpoint, we don't want to have to make changes from what they have to do, which is to just dial the 9, then the number.

Setting the 9 to use the OLG that connects building to building, then pressing 9 (code to access LCR on remote site) to access an outside line does not seem to work. Just a buzzing sound.
Dialing the Network Node (12) and then 9, plus the number does seem to work.
How can I get the system to automatically put or dial 12,9, then the number when the user just presses 9, then the number now?
