Copper Lines - Property was bought and some remodeling done. The front desk was moved and of course the front desk phone also. I reconnected the phones and can now receive. I'm not sure if this was happening before the move. I was called after the carpenter moved the front desk.

How do you dial out, by dialing 9? The last line may be dead, which means if you dial 9, you pickup the dead line and can not dial.

Same thing if they reduced the number of lines in the system. The system has to be reprogamed to not use the last line.

Moving the phone would not affect dialing out. Either the phone works or it doesn't.

Try dialing 9 then a number. After a few seconds put the call on hold and look at the display.

The system is trying to use the last line programmed. There were seven lines before and now there are four. Can you give me info on changing the programming?

Under trunk assignments set the OLG to "0" for the last 3 lines.
