Is there a device/way to page all the phone using an External audio source? Basically, a reverse of Page Industries PI-DKT-R.

I have a Device that plays a recorded message when a contact Closure occurs. That is attached to the overhead paging amp input for Paging in the warehouse. I would like to play the same message on all the phones in the office.

What I think you would need is something that would connect to an analog port and dial #30 and play a message.

I know such devices exist in some form. They may be more costly more complicated then what you need. I have seen alarm sensors that will dial a preset number then play a recorded message. Just depends on how programable they would be.

I think you may be looking for something like the Viking DVA-500A .

Newtecky, That is exactly what i am looking to do. Dial #30 play a message on a contact closer.

MacOSX, can the viking dial out #30 and play the recorded message?

Doing a google search I found this https://www.specialtyalarms.com/site/1313932/product/01-2000 . I did not read the docs. Looks like this works on a Normal closed loop. I know there are other various types out there.

If the device can not dial the # in the #30 code, you could change the page all code.

Viking has one also https://www.vikingelectronics.com/products/view_product.php?pid=418

I probabaly should have checked their site first. Reading the docs, this one also has a PA mode, which will proabably work well with what you need. Contacts can be normally open or closed. This one is probabably your best bet.

I did notice the # key is used for programing so my note about changing the #30 code may apply for this one.

Awsome, the K-202-DVA will work. K-2000-DVA is even better, 8 options.
