I didn't programm the phone system, But i Called a Digital phone w/ display from an analog line with my buttset, and it said Voicemail 1, and so forth. But now the voicemail doesnt pick up now. only to retrieve messages. It keeps ringing and we can't leave messages for anyones' inbox. ANy help would be greatly appreciated. Thanxs, in advance.

Does the Amanda have a CRT monitor so you can see if it booted up all the way?

Yes the Amanda does have a CRT/Monitor it boots up. But i found out 3 things wrong from another guy that dropped by that i was useing one pair wiring cords, Number 2. A Serial Cable of some sort, Number 3. And the cables going to the a line card. That fixed the problem. Thanks phonemeister, I should have checked my work carefully. But where do the voicemail connections go normally?

In addition to phonemeisters question :
You have a butt-set, so are you able to clip onto the analog ports at the line cord, right before it goes into the Amanda and receive an incoming call (thus proving the analog ports are operating correctly up to the system)?
Also, you say 4 ports on two NIC's - I am guessing that is actually two 4 conductor line-in cards (6P4C), not 8 conductor ethernet connections (8P8C).
You also say it only picks up to retrieve messages, I am guessing the Call-Forwarding may have been lost/turned-off during the move, if it was a programmable toggle key.
Do you know the pilot DN of VM (850, 300, 224, etc.)?
