I've been reviewing this method and I don't think it will work for us. Our DIDs are on a completely different system from these stations. All of our PRI lines come into a system seperate from the one these are on. I have incoming DIDs pointing to the MCG on the remote system. Putting the DID in the same GCO would only work within the same system, right?

Yes, GCO's only support the system they are on.

It's been a while, but I still wanted to see if anyone has anything further to offer. It's still hard to believe I can't edit the ring preferences for an incoming multiple call group call...
Does anyone know if there are system settings that might determine the ringing preference the cix uses?

Maybe you could make it ring in delay so the person who is supposed to answer could do it before the phdn start to ring on the other set.
