With one of some 50+ extensions and only this one, when you hit the switchboard, or are transferred to this one extension and the person is on the phone - the phantom ext lights up RED and there is no audible ring.
Normally lights up green and beeps when u is on the phone.
I disabled DND (#6092) incase it was on, no calls are being forwarded, and the Phantom DN's are set to voice first like all the other ones..
Any ideas? What would cause the LED for the pdn to light up RED and not have a ring?
This extension is part of a multiple call group. If he is on the phone and another call hits that MCG, then his phone works as it should, rings, and lights up green.
But if he gets a call transferred to his extension or if somebody hits the switchboard and dials his extension, its RED.

With eManager, go into button assignments and make sure his phDN is set to ring.

That was it!
i didn't even know that was an option.
under KEY, i went to Directory Number, selected the button, and it was set to NO RING for DAY1/DAY2/NIGHT.
i changed it, will test in a bit but i think that was it.
