How can I find out how many extensions I can have in my business?..We are currently using the DK424 model bit I cant find anywhere how many phone extension this system allows me to have...any help will be greatly appriciated

Carlos-the CPU determines how many lines/extensions you can have. To keep it simple, there is an "A" processor, a "B" processor, a "C/D" processer and an "E/F" processor. Look to the far slot on the left and see if you can determine if you have a single processor or two processors with a ribbon cable connecting them. Post your results and I can help you determine your maximum configuration.

While you're looking at the box, count the number of PDKU cards - each card can handle up to 8 extensions (some of the lower ports may be reserved for DSS consols, door boxes, etc. reducing the number of phones). That should give you a rough count of how many extensions you are currently set up for.

Also, the number of CO cards can affect the total number of extensions permitted - Post a list of all cards installed, and we can give a better idea of current configuration and upgrade possibilities.
