Using hyperterminal & having a heck of a time sending a "break" command to my IVP8 during boot.
I'm in VT100 mode, like I should be, but can not send control-C.
Anyone have a trick for me?

Thanks!

Not sure why you would need to send the break command. During bootup it does offer you the chance to drop to command prompt. What are you trying to accomplish?

A client of mine inherited a CTX100 with a 4-port IVP8. It was abandoned by the previous tenant...
I know the procedure to default the IVP8 (you know I can’t divulge here…).
My laptop and HyperTerminal are giving me fits when I try to send a "control-C" command.
I'm looking for advice from anyone that may have encountered the same issue.

....and that's what I'm trying to accomplish!

You can always run the "plug and play" option

Thanks! I'm looking into your PM'd solution. I don't recall having to do that previously. ;-)

As I suspected, the culprit was the version of HyperTerminal on my XP-Pro (SP-3) Dell laptop!

I downloaded Advanced Serial Port Terminal from Eltima Software & all is right with the world here.

Thanks for everyone's input!
