I've just removed the time limit on recorded phone calls for my users (it was at 3min by default). Do I need to be concerned about my users filling up their voicemail boxes with lengthy recorded calls? I can't find anything that specifies a limit on either the number of messages in a mailbox or the total time of those messages. Can I assume that the mailboxes will just grow as long as there is available HDD space?

Yes, running out of space can be a concern. I'm assuming you have a Stratagy ES or iES. If so, there are a couple of workarounds that I can think of. One is to use a network drive for extended storage. The other is to use Unified Messaging, if you have enough licenses, and have the recordings delivered to your email via a wav file and then deleted from the Stratagy.

Yes, StratagyES. We only have five Unified Messaging licenses (for a company of 13).
Is harddrive space the only limiting factor? I've got an 40gb HDD with little else on it at the moment, so it would be quite awhile before it actually filled up.

You could also set each mailbox to purge old messages periodically.
