I recently installed a Toshiba Strata CTX28 and had it all fired up, working etc. and added one last phone and accidentally connected a digital extension port to another digital extension port. Now the phones are all dead and the cabinet power light will not come on. The fuse looks good and the power supply looks good when checked with my tester. Does anyone know how bad this is, what did I fry and what needs replacing to fix it? Thanks

Verify that the fuse is good, I fried one on a cutover one day ,still had one of the old phones plugged in when I cut it over. It smoked the fuse ,it didn't look like it was gonna be easy to replace so I sent it to Toshiba for repair

Thanks for the scoop on your experience with the fuse, I will probably go that route. The filement on the fuse looks suspicious as it appears broken (no burnt look though) but when I checked the fuse for continuity with my toner (touching each side of it with the probes)it is good (the red light on the toner lights up), but maybe that's a false reading for some reason. You are right, there is no easy way to replace the fuse except to have it repaired. Thanks again.
